Business Continuity
Recruitment doesn't stop, and neither does Milly. Our infrastructure is designed for high availability and rapid recovery.
Infrastructure
Call Milly runs on redundant cloud infrastructure hosted in the UK. Our systems are distributed across multiple availability zones, meaning that a failure in one zone does not affect overall service availability. All critical components have automatic failover.
Availability Target
We target 99.9% uptime for the Call Milly platform. This equates to less than 9 hours of unplanned downtime per year. Planned maintenance windows are scheduled outside peak hours and communicated at least 48 hours in advance.
Backups
- Automated daily backups of all customer data, retained for 30 days.
- Point-in-time recovery available for databases with 5-minute granularity.
- Backups are encrypted and stored in a geographically separate UK data centre.
- Regular backup restoration testing to verify integrity.
Disaster Recovery
Our disaster recovery plan defines procedures for responding to major incidents:
Recovery Time Objective (RTO)
4 hours
Maximum acceptable time to restore service after a major incident.
Recovery Point Objective (RPO)
1 hour
Maximum acceptable data loss measured in time.
Monitoring
All systems are monitored 24/7 with automated alerting. Our engineering team is on-call and will respond to critical incidents within 15 minutes. Service status is published on our status page.
